Ashes's story

"Get a deal without the ordeal" are words to live by, and I always use this ploy to purrsuade my purrsistent feline inamoratas when purrchasing a purrson like me.  With some you get egg rolls (Confucius says), but with me you get noms de plume.  You might think it's a reference to that long, grey, furry appendage at the end of my body.  But it ain't.     I have been called "Ashley," "Ashes," "Smokey," and "Cloudy," because of the grey cloud that colors my coat.  This does not infur that I am a morose or depressing cat.  Rather, I am shy and pensive, musing often about birds, trees, fish, and treats, especially Super Mega Temptations that are crunchy outside and soft inside.  I can resist everything but Temptations, a maxim share with Oscar Wilde.    This introspection does not preclude playing with tassels on a bed spread or feathers on a stick or chasing the ball in the channel of a "Turbo Scratcher," the ultimate cat toy that's pleasing to my ears and my paws.    Therefore, dear cat lover extraordinaire, purruse my portrait (I could have used "purrtrait," doncha know, but enough silliness), think about my grey softness, my purrfect reply to your caress, and my adoration forever.    I am Ashes, the nom de plume who muses and amuses.  I'll be waiting pensively fur your visit.  approx. DOB: September 2013
