Our greatest wish is that pet overpopulation, abuse and neglect of our companion animals will end, and that the need for Ahimsa Rescue Foundation and others like us, and shelters, will no longer be a necessity, but a thing of the past. Until that becomes a reality, we will continue to need your support to keep us doing what we do, rescue, rehabilitate and rehome animals in need! Since our rescue efforts must continue, please see our wish list below.

SPECIAL GROOMING NEEDS
When dogs, and some cats, come to us they are sometimes very matted and dirty. Often we need to shave them down in order to treat wounds and skin irritations as well as treat serious flea infestations. This can destroy a grooming blade (Oster #10 blade) so we go through a lot of them! If you would like to help us purchase these and other supplies for our animals they can be found in the many pet catalogs.

OFFICE/ADMINISTRATIVE

VOLUNTEER
Volunteer your time. We are always needing new people to help with the animals in our care. Foster homes, shelter care, training, dog walkers, and the list goes on for their needs.
SPONSOR
  • A veterinarian intake exam
